Hound Song Brewing Co 5K Beer Run - Columbus, Texas
The Hound Song Brewing Co 5K Beer Run takes place in Columbus on November 14, 2026 and is event number 13 in the 2026 Texas 5K 6-Pack Challenge. The course starts and finishes at Hound Song Brewing Co., 535 Walnut St, and runs through historic Columbus.
Race entry includes a custom finisher pint glass and a beverage option of four 8-oz tastings or two pints, plus an official race performance fabric shirt. The course is described as well marked and supported. Free race photos are posted online after the event.
Amenities and services at the brewery include Hound Song breakfast tacos available for purchase and the brewery kitchen and full menu becoming available at noon. Packet pickup is offered at Hound Song Brewing Co on the Friday of race week from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on race day at the brewery. The course is stroller friendly and dog friendly, with the requirement that leash laws be observed and owners pick up after their animals.
Awards are presented to top overall male and female finishers and top overall masters (age 40 and up), plus the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. A random drawing for souvenir awards is held after the competitive award ceremony.
