Madre's Fiesta on Saturday, May 9, 2026 is a trail running event held on the Sandridge Trail in Middleburg, Florida. The event offers several looped race options and a kid's fun run on a flat-ish, non-technical and wide trail. Distances offered: - Half Marathon Ruck - 1/2 Marathon - 14K - 14k Ruck - 7k Ruck - 7K - Kid's Fun Run (1 mile) Course layout uses looped circuits: the half marathon runs a 6.65 mile loop twice, the 14K uses a 4.2 mile loop twice, and the 7K completes one 4.2 mile loop. There is one main aid station for all events and a second aid station for half marathoners about halfway on each loop.
Aid stations are stocked with water, electrolytes, and standard aid station fare. This is a cupless race; participants should bring their own hydration pack or handheld bottle. Post-race hot food is cooked on a Blackstone grill and offered free to runners and volunteers. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on state forest property; nonalcoholic drinks will be available. Custom medals reflect the event's Latin theme and measure about 5 inches in diameter.
Awards include Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and a Slow A$$ award.
