Event overview
The Hellcat 5K and 10K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Military Museum of North Florida, Historic Lee Field in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The event supports the Military Museum of North Florida, a 501(c)(3) organization. Entrance to the museum is free to runners and their families on January 18.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back route around the perimeter of the old base. Surfaces include pavement and dirt roads with no roots or rocks. Runners pass through cypress swamps and may see local wildlife, including alligators, deer, and bear. The start and finish are located at the flagpole at Reynolds Industrial Park. Registration and check-in are also at the flagpole. Packets are available for pickup at the Baymeadows 1st Place Sports store, 3931 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL; all packets are moved to the race site for race day pickup.
Aid and water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Timing is chip based. Finishers medals are awarded to all 5K and 10K finishers and all participants receive a technical shirt. The time limit for both distances is 2 hours.
Entry fees
