Event details

The Resolution Run is an annual running event organized by the Florida Striders on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 455 Park Avenue in Orange Park, Florida. The event includes a 5K race and a separate 1 Mile Fun Run for children. The 5K course begins on River Road behind bestbet on US-17 and has a turnaround at Kingsley and Reed. Course safety is coordinated with Clay County Emergency Amateur Radio Teams and local sheriff department officers.

Logistics and awards

Pre-race packet pickup is available at local 1st Place Sports stores and at the race; pickup the day before is scheduled at store locations. Online and in-store registration are offered, with day-of race registration also available. Finisher medals are provided to the first 600 finishers. Awards include 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in age groups, and male and female Master and Grand Master awards. A water station is placed on the course near the turnaround and refreshments are available beyond the finish area. Paying runners receive complimentary hot chocolate after the race.
