Madison Marathon 2026

The Madison Marathon is a multi-distance running event held in November 2026 with race day on Sunday, November 15. Races start and finish on Capitol Square and pass through several of Madison’s iconic neighborhoods and landmarks. The event weekend includes an expo and packet pick up at Monona Terrace on the two days before race day, a Saturday shake out run led by Fleet Feet Madison and Sun Prairie, and a will call packet pick up that must be pre-purchased.

The 2026 medal is the final piece in a four year series; runners who completed all four years will receive a center coin. All race distances receive the 2026 medal. The event is produced by Madison Festivals, Inc. Event times are estimated for 2026 and are subject to change.
