Registration includes free race photos, a gender-specific long-sleeved shirt, a finisher medal (year three of a four-year series), one Michelob Ultra beer for participants 21 and older, and post-race food. Pace groups are available, and the event is professionally timed and managed. A prize purse is offered for 1st to 3rd place overall winners, male and female, in the marathon and half marathon.
The event has active fundraising efforts, with the Badger Challenge showing $531.16 raised toward a $5,000 goal and Madison Festivals showing $139.44 raised toward a $5,000 goal. Participants receive a unique referral link; when five people register using that link, the original registrant’s fee is refunded to the credit card used at registration during race week.
