Madison Marathon
The Madison Marathon is an annual road race held in Madison with a race weekend that includes an expo and packet pick up at Monona Terrace. The event for 2026 is scheduled for November 15, 2026. Races start and finish on Capitol Square and follow courses that pass through several of Madison’s notable areas.

- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
The race weekend features an expo and packet pick up on the days before the race, and a will call packet pick up option on race day for pre-purchased packets. A community shake out run led by local running groups is also part of the weekend schedule.
The 2026 medal is the final piece in a four-year series. All race distances receive the 2026 medal, and participants who completed the full four-year series are awarded a center coin.
Madison Festivals, Inc. organizes the event. The event policy states that entering the race constitutes implied consent for the use of a participant’s image or likeness in event photography, digital media, or video recordings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
