Madison Marathon presented by SSM Health
The Madison Marathon presented by SSM Health takes place in downtown Madison, Wisconsin on November 15, 2026. Races start and finish on Capitol Square. An event expo and packet pick up are scheduled at Monona Terrace on Friday November 13 and Saturday November 14. Will Call packet pick up is available on race day and must be pre-purchased.

Registration includes several race services and amenities. The event provides free race photos, one complimentary Michelob Ultra beer for participants 21 and older and post race food, a long-sleeved gender-specific shirt, and a finisher medal that is part of a multi-year series. The event features pace groups, professional timing and race management, and a prize purse for first through third overall winners by gender in both the marathon and the half marathon.
The race is presented by SSM Health and lists additional sponsors including Michelob Ultra, Festival Foods, MEP, Fleet Feet, Murphy Desmond and WKOW. The organizer is Madison Festivals.
