Madison Marathon
Madison Marathon is an annual road race held in Madison, Wisconsin with a race date in November 2026. The event starts and finishes on Capitol Square and routes pass through several of Madison's notable neighborhoods and public areas.

Race weekend includes an expo and packet pick up at Monona Terrace on the days before the race, shake out runs led by Fleet Feet Madison & Sun Prairie, and a will call packet option that must be pre-purchased. Organizers publish a participant guide and provide results and race photos after the event. There is an ambassador program and volunteer opportunities connected to the event.
All race distances receive a commemorative 2026 medal. The 2026 medal is noted as the final medal in a four-year series; participants who completed all four years may receive a central coin piece of the series.
Madison Festivals, Inc. organizes the event and works with partners and sponsors. Entry into the event includes implied consent for the organizer to use participants' images and likenesses in race photography, video, and other event media.
