Mactaquac Trail Race
Mactaquac Trail Race takes place at Mactaquac Provincial Park on October 3 and 4, 2026. The event uses a mix of single and double track trails, includes several bridges and two stream crossings. The course is not very hilly but is rarely flat; sections can be slippery and roots may be exposed.

- 5K new Saturday race aimed at beginning trail runners
- 10K one loop
- 20K two loops
- Kids run free, on-site registration
The Saturday 5K has a lower fee, manual timing, limited food, and the same participant swag as other races. Sunday events include awards and draw prizes. The event is run with reduced single-use items so water stations will not provide cups; participants must bring their own cup, bottle, or hydration bladder.
There is no race-day registration. Online registration closes the day before the event and there are no refunds or deferrals. A transfer period opens once the race is sold out. Dogs and strollers are not allowed. A bag drop is available for warm or dry clothes. Massage sessions by massage therapy students are offered on Sunday morning. Reconnaissance runs of the course are organized in the weeks before the event and announced on the event Facebook page. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
