About the race
The Run for KidSport in Fredericton is an untimed fundraising run and walk held on November 1, 2026, to support KidSport NB. The event offers out-and-back courses on the city riverfront trail system that start and finish near Carleton Park and the Picaroons Roundhouse. It was established in 2019 and is presented by Phoenix Petroleum Ltd., Petroleum Measurement Integrators Ltd., Fredericton Marathon and Sport New Brunswick.
Registration requires a minimum donation of CAD 25 plus processing fees; registration fees are forwarded directly to KidSport NB and registration information is shared only for tax receipt purposes. Online registration is available and race day registration is offered. Race kit pick-up is held at Picaroons Roundhouse on the day before and on the day of the event.
The event format is untimed and designed for running and walking along the riverfront trail network. The first 200 registered participants receive a commemorative item.
