About the race
S.P.R.I.N.G. Wheel & Run 5k Fundraiser is an annual all-abilities accessible 5 km event held at Carleton Park in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The event comprises a 5 km loop along Fredericton’s Riverfront Trails and a Fun-Fest in the park with local vendors, food trucks, and lawn games.
Caravan Bakery is listed in the event lineup. Entry is by on-site donation with suggested amounts of Students and youth under 16 at $5, Adults at $10, and Families at $20. One hundred percent of donations are directed to S.P.R.I.N.G., a volunteer-facilitated adaptive recreation program for youth aged 3 to 15 with physical, neurodevelopmental, and/or other disabilities. The fundraiser supports the program Students Pairing to Reach Individual Needs & Goals. The event is held in person at Carleton Park on Union Street in Fredericton and notes free parking and accessibility for all ages.
