Mack Cycle Tri-Miami Triathlon Trilogy
The Mack Cycle Tri-Miami Triathlon Trilogy is a three race series held at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne near downtown Miami. The 2026 dates are Sunday, May 17, June 21, and August 9. Events are scheduled roughly six weeks apart.
Each event offers multiple race formats including Sprint, Intermediate (International), and Olympic distances, plus aquabike and duathlon options. Distances for the formats include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 m swim, 14 km bike, 3.3 km run
- Sprint Duathlon: 1.5 km run, 14 km bike, 3.3 km run
- Sprint Aquabike: 500 m swim, 14 km bike
- Intermediate Triathlon: 1 km swim, 27 km bike, 6.7 km run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Olympic Aquabike: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike
The swim takes place in a calm area of the Atlantic Ocean. The bike course leaves Crandon Park and climbs to the William Powell Bridge, which has an approximate 4 percent grade up to 76 feet and offers views of the Miami skyline; riders complete one, two, or three laps depending on race distance. The remainder of the bike course is flat. The run follows paved trails through Crandon Park with ocean views and shaded sections; lap counts mirror the bike laps for each distance.
