Mack Cycle Tri-Miami Triathlon Trilogy : General Info
The Mack Cycle Tri-Miami Triathlon Trilogy is a three race series held at Crandon Park, Key Biscayne, near downtown Miami. The 2026 dates are May 17, June 21, and August 9. Events are spaced six weeks apart.
Race formats offered at each event include Sprint, Intermediate (also called International in some materials), and Olympic distances, plus duathlon and aquabike options. The swim takes place in a calm area of the Atlantic Ocean. The bike course departs Crandon Park, climbs the William Powell Bridge with a steady 4% grade reaching about 76 feet, requires a u turn to return, repeats that climb, and continues on generally flat roads. The run follows paved trails through Crandon Park with ocean views and shaded sections. For bike and run segments, Sprint competitors complete one lap, Intermediate competitors complete two laps, and Olympic competitors complete three laps.
Distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 500 m, Bike 14K, Run 3.3K
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 1.5K, Bike 14K, Run 3.3K
- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 500 m, Bike 14K
- Intermediate Triathlon: Swim 1K, Bike 27K, Run 6.7K
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1.5K, Bike 40K, Run 10K
- Olympic Aquabike: Swim 1.5K, Bike 40K
