Luv 2 Run Portland 5K - Portland, Maine
The Luv 2 Run Portland 5K is a 5-kilometer walk and run held on June 14, 2026 on the Back Cove Trail in Portland, Maine. Walkers are welcome. The course is described as scenic and mainly off road.
Packet pickup and race day registration are staged at Marathon Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland. The packet pickup location is about 0.4 miles from the finish and about 0.9 miles from the start; maps will be provided and driving time between locations is under five minutes.
Entry fees are tiered: $26 Wicked Early Bird pre-registration by January 1, $29 Early Bird by April 1, $34 thereafter and $39 on race day. Colorful Luv2Run T-shirts are distributed to entrants by May 10 as available. Cash prizes are offered for overall winners. Pint glass awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top two male and female age groups. Team prizes are awarded to the first running club, corporate or open team of four or more.
The event runs a 50/50 raffle with $2 chances and donates to the Sons of the Amvets Michael Shone Scholarship. A post-race party takes place at Charles J Loring Amvets Post 25 at 186 Washington Ave; participants 21 and older may receive one complimentary Mimosa and non-alcoholic options are available.
