The event is the Luv 2 Run Portland 5K walk/run on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Portland, Maine. The on-course location is the Back Cove Trail with packet pickup and race-day registration handled at Marathon Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland. Due to recent municipal fee changes, packet pickup is 0.4 miles from the finish and 0.9 miles from the start; maps will be provided and driving time between locations is described as under five minutes. The race organizer states there are no refunds; in cases of catastrophic weather, a public health crisis, or other events beyond race management control the race may be rescheduled or converted to a virtual event.
Registration, awards and amenities
The site lists a base registration price of $26 and shows higher tiers up to $39 for later or on-site entry. Cash prizes are offered for overall winners. Awards include Luv2Run pint glasses for top male and female overall and for the top two male and female age groups. Team prizes are listed for first running club, corporate, or open teams of four or more.
