Luv 2 Run Portland 5K
The Luv 2 Run Portland 5K takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Portland, Maine. The event is held on the Back Cove Trail and is described as a scenic, off-road course. Walkers are welcome.
Event details and logistics
Registration shows a base entry fee of $26, with higher fees for later registration periods and on race day. Packet pickup and race day registration are at Marathon Sports, 309 Marginal Way, Portland. Organizers note packet pickup is 0.4 miles from the finish and 0.9 miles from the start; maps will be provided and driving time between locations is under five minutes. The race makes donations to the "Sons of the Amvets Michael Shone Scholarship." Colorful Luv2Run T-shirts are provided to entrants as available by May 10.
Awards and post-race
There are cash prizes for overall winners and pint glasses for top overall male and female finishers and top two male and female age groups. Team prizes are awarded to the first running club, corporate, or open team of four or more. A 50/50 raffle is held with chances sold for $2 each. Participants aged 21 and over may receive one complimentary mimosa at the post-race party; non-alcoholic options are available and minors must remain with a parent.
