Event information
The Lunch Lady Hustle 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 9, 2026 in Lexington, KY at Coldstream Park / Legacy Trail (1850 Pisacano Drive, 40511). The event is presented by the Fayette County School Nutrition Association, a non-profit. Proceeds and donations will support student and employee scholarship programs administered by the organization.

Details and race features
The course is an out-and-back on paved and concrete trail surfaces with very little elevation change. There are two hydration stations along the route at Mile 1.4 and Mile 1.9. The common start and finish location is on the east end of the Coldstream Dog Park area. Packet pickup is held on the morning of the race at Coldstream Park.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups (0-14 up to 80+). All participants receive a unisex poly/cotton T-shirt while supplies last. Other listed features include free race photos, a "Lunch Lady Challenge," a Best Dressed Lunch Lady contest, music and food, and age-group awards that include fudge for podium finishers.
