Lunch Lady Hustle 5K Run/Walk
The Lunch Lady Hustle 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 9, 2026, at Coldstream Park/Legacy Trail in Lexington, Kentucky. The event is presented by the Fayette County School Nutrition Association, a non-profit that supports student and employee scholarships and offers continuing education for local school nutrition staff. One hundred percent of proceeds and donations from the race bolster the scholarship program.

Participants receive a commemorative unisex poly/cotton shirt while supplies last. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top three in five-year age groups through 80+. The race includes the Lunch Lady Challenge and a Best Dressed Lunch Lady contest. Organizers provide race photos and will have music and food on site.
The course is an out-and-back route on paved and concrete trail surfaces with very little elevation change. There are hydration stations at Mile 1.4 and Mile 1.9. The common start and finish location is on the east end of the Coldstream Dog Park area.
Packet pickup is held the morning of the race at Coldstream Park from 7:15 to 8:45 am. Social team pricing is available for groups of five or more, with a small credit applied when a fifth member joins. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
