YMCA Reindeer Ramble 5K
The YMCA Reindeer Ramble is a community holiday 5K run and walk held on December 12, 2026 at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. Now in its 19th year, the event supports the YMCA Annual Campaign and the organization’s financial assistance program, which provides sliding scale scholarships for children and families to attend YMCA programs and memberships.
There are two participation options: an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Registration fee tiers vary by date: Sep 21 to Oct 11 fee $27, Oct 12 to Nov 8 fee $32, Nov 9 to Nov 29 fee $37, and Nov 30 to Dec 12 fee $40. Virtual participants may complete the 5K anywhere and submit times between December 8 and December 13; virtual entrants are not eligible for awards but are eligible to receive race shirts during packet pickup.
Packet pickup is available Friday, December 11 at High Street YMCA from 9:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:15pm, with additional packet availability on race day at Keeneland starting at 8:30am. Registered participants receive a commemorative shirt while supplies last, with limited exchange inventory at pickup.
Awards include top overall finishers, age group placings from youth through 80 and over, and team awards for the fastest teams.
