Lumphanan Detox 10k 2026
The Lumphanan Detox 10k takes place on 2 January 2026 in Lumphanan, Scotland. The event is based at Lumphanan Village Hall, School Road, AB31 4SU, with the 10 km course described as almost circular. The route begins with a long steady incline of about 2 km. On Route A the remainder of the course is mostly downhill or flat; Route B includes an additional hill at about 7.5 km. Routes A and B are the same for the first 6.5 km.
Route A veers off the tarmac at about 6.5 km onto a farm track for roughly 1 km; this off-road section may be tricky in places. Route B stays on the road down to the main Torphins/Lumphanan road, then turns right and includes a climb before the final descent into the village.
