About the race
lululemon Conestoga Mall - Waterloo and BackRoads Brews + Shoes present a multiple-date Sunday run series held at BackRoads Brews + Shoes in Kitchener, located at 5 Wellington Street South, Unit 1. The series features a 5 km run with a new route each week and is an in-person event with an approximate duration of two hours.
Each week has a distinct theme and post-run gathering details. Examples include a coffee club vibe with a DJ, an Oktoberfest session with themed beverages, pretzels and taproom games where lederhosen are encouraged, a cozy recovery themed run with blankets and a patio setup depending on weather, and a family friendly Thanksgiving-themed final run that includes themed snacks, a gratitude station, a food bank donation initiative and a final series celebration.
After the run there is an après-run club gathering at BackRoads. The venue offers specialty drinks such as a new latte and an Espresso Martini.
