Wise Raven Trail Race
Wise Raven Trail Race takes place on October 17, 2026 at Camp Heidelberg on Kressler Road in Waterloo, Ontario. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Any money in excess of expenses will be donated to Run-Walk-Roll for WRHNCC. The event is limited to 115 spots and is in its 11th year of fundraising.
The course uses a well marked 2.5 km loop through forest on the Camp Heidelberg property. Trails are primarily fast and groomed, with short technical sections featuring rocks and roots and a few rolling hills. Each loop has approximately 45 m of elevation gain. There is space to set up a drop bag at the aid station. Participants should be prepared for varied October weather.

- 10 km (4 loops)
- 25 km (10 loops)
- 50 km (20 loops)
- 6 hour and 6 hour relay option
All events are electronically timed by Chiptime Results. The aid station offers water, electrolytes, soda, candy, chips, pickles and sometimes PB and J sandwiches and pie. This is a cup less event so participants should bring bottles. Relay teams consist of 2 to 4 members; an ankle timing chip is passed between runners and each runner must complete an entire lap. No pacers allowed. All finishers receive a medal and other goodies. Plenty of parking. No dogs or alcohol on site. Refunds are not offered; runners may defer to the following year and distance transfers are permitted under stated conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
