Wise Raven Trail Race
The Wise Raven Trail Race takes place on October 17, 2026 at Camp Heidelberg - K-W Optimist Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The event is limited to 115 spots and is a sanctioned race by Athletics Ontario. Any money in excess of expenses will be donated to Run-Walk-Roll for WRHNCC; this is the event's eleventh year raising funds.
The course is a well marked 2.5 km loop through forest on the Camp Heidelberg property. Runners leave the start area and follow a fast, flat section past a covered aid station toward the camp pond. The loop is primarily fast, groomed trail with some short technical sections featuring rocks and roots and a few rolling hills. Each loop has about 45 m of elevation gain. Participants should prepare for variable October weather and may set a drop bag at the aid station area.

- 5 km (2 loops)
- 10 km (4 loops)
- 25 km (10 loops)
- 50 km (20 loops)
- 6 hour individual
- 6 hour relay teams of 2 to 4 members
Additional information: timing is electronic via Chiptime Results. The aid station offers water, electrolytes, snacks and some sandwiches and pie. This is a cup-less event so participants should bring bottles. Pacers are not allowed. All finishers receive a medal. No alcohol or pets are permitted on site. The organizer does not offer refunds but allows deferrals and distance transfers with conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
