About the race
Trick or Trot is a Halloween themed running event scheduled for October 31, 2026, in Waterloo, Ontario. The event listing includes 445 Wes Graham Way as an address, while the final course location is noted as to be confirmed.
The event program includes the following race options:
- 5K race
- 200 m fun run
- Future Runner (Stroller Occupant) : free registration for the child in the stroller; does not include a t-shirt or finisher medal. Strollers and their passengers must be registered and must be accompanied by a participant in a different sub-event.
The expected 5K course for 2026 is an out and back route and a course map is provided as an expected map that may differ from previous years. Medals are planned for all finishers; a glow in the dark medal was used in a prior year and the 2026 medal design is scheduled to be revealed in summer 2026.
The event schedule lists bib pickup before the races, a costume contest at the start line with a prize to be announced, the 200 m fun run, followed by the 5K race.
