Fall 5 KM Classic 2026
Fall 5 KM Classic 2026 is the 28th annual running event held on October 18, 2026 at Riverside Park, 1935 Rogers Dr, Cambridge, Ontario, along the Speed River. The event includes a main 5 km race, a 200 m fun run for children, and a free registered option for stroller occupants.
The 5 km course is described as very flat, composed of about 90% road and 10% paved pathway. The route is closed to vehicle traffic for the race and is certified by Athletics Canada; the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. A water station is located at 2.5 km. Parking is available at lots along Rogers Dr with vehicle access from Speedsville Rd only. There are about twice the required number of washrooms near the start area.
Distances:
- 5 km : certified course, t-shirt included with entry while supplies last, finisher medal guaranteed.
- 200 m Fun Run : untimed kids run, finisher medal guaranteed.
- Future Runner (Stroller Occupant) : free registration for stroller passengers; must be accompanied by a different registered participant.
Registration fees vary by registration window. Medals and stickers are available while supplies last. Refunds are not available; deferrals and transfers are managed through the event waiver. The race offers category awards across age, non-binary, weight, adaptive athlete, and walking divisions, plus overall and masters prize money with specified time conditions.
