About the race
Fall 5 KM Classic 2026 is the 28th annual running event held on October 18, 2026, at Riverside Park, 1935 Rogers Dr, Cambridge, Ontario. The course runs along the Speed River and is described as very flat, with approximately 90% road and 10% paved pathway. The entire race course is closed to cars and the course is certified by Athletics Canada and sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Distances offered:
- 5 km includes a finisher medal and a t-shirt while supplies last.
- 200 m Fun Run is untimed and includes a finisher medal.
There is a water station at 2.5 km. Strollers and their passengers are free but must be registered; a stroller passenger does not receive a shirt or medal. Parking is available at lots along Rogers Drive with vehicle entry from Speedsville Road only, and the course does not obstruct parking. Organizers provide at least twice the required number of washrooms near the start line.
Awards include top three category prizes in five year age groups for men and women, non-binary category awards, weight categories, adaptive athlete and walking categories. Prize money is offered for overall and masters places and for specific time based performances. Medals and engraved award plates are part of the finishers and category awards.
