Event Details
The Lucky Half Marathon - St George is part of a multi-distance event taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event includes in-person and virtual options for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The race starts and finishes at Crosby Family Confluence Park, located at 2099 S Convention Center Dr in Saint George, Utah.
Race Features
All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given in each distance for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as top three in masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior masters (60+) categories. Awards are also given for the top three in standard 5-year age groups, starting from 10 & Under through 80+.
The course is not entirely flat and contains some hills. Self-serve water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. The course has a time limit of 3.5 hours for the half marathon, equating to a 16-minute-per-mile pace.
Registration and Logistics
Race day packet pickup and registration opens one hour before the start. There is a charity partner, the Red Rock Center for Independence. The event uses the RaceJoy app for live phone tracking, GPS progress alerts, and cheers from spectators.
Virtual race participants can run their chosen distance anywhere and submit their time online by the end of race day; virtual packages are shipped within the continental US.
Policies
Participants registered by February 25, 2026, are guaranteed a shirt in their requested size. All registrations are final with no refunds, deferments, or transfers. The event is held rain or shine, but may be canceled for extreme weather, in which case it becomes a virtual event with no refunds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
