Lucky Dog 5K - Milwaukee is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Franklin, WI (zip 53132). The event is a 5k run/walk that benefits Rescue Gang, a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by volunteers that places animals in foster homes and provides medical care. Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes at Grove 5 in Greenfield Park. The route is mostly out-and-back and includes a full loop around the pond. Packet pickup is race day only and begins one hour before the event. An interactive course map is provided by the organizer.

Registration, entry and awards

Registration opens January 19, 2026 at 12:00am CST. The listed entry price is $25. Standard registration items include a short sleeve t-shirt (option to upgrade to long sleeve), finisher medal, dog medal, chip-timed bib, and live race results. Dogs may run or walk with participants and are not required to register; optional dog upgrades include a dog hoodie and doggie medal. Awards are given overall male and female and to the top three in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
