Luck O' the Lake - Excelsior, MN
Luck O' the Lake is a St. Patrick's Day themed community event held in Excelsior, MN on March 20, 2027. The event is presented by the Excelsior Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce and supports its mission to promote the local area as a place to live, work, and visit. The program combines running, walking, and a non-competitive option with a post-event celebration.
Participants can choose from the following options:
- 5K run
- 1-Mile fun run / walk
- The Lazy Leprechaun non-running option that returns to the brewery for the celebration
The course is an open road course with vehicles on the streets. The race starts in front of Lakes Area Realty and finishes in front of Aloom Consignment. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Post-race offerings include beer and donuts while supplies last. Race shirts are unisex, run large, and there is an option to decline a shirt; a limited quantity of shirts may be available for purchase during bib pickup.
Awards include a gift certificate for a new pair of shoes for 5K winners and prizes for each age group. Packet pickup and registration take place at Excelsior Brewing Company around the event dates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
