Luck O' the Lake
Luck O' the Lake is a St. Patrick’s Day themed community event in Excelsior, MN on March 20, 2027. The event is organized by the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce and supports the Chamber’s mission to promote the area as a place to live, work, and visit. The gathering combines timed racing, family-friendly walking, and a non-running participation option with a post-event celebration.
Event options include:
- 5K run
- 1-mile fun run / walk
- The Lazy Leprechaun for participants who head back to the brewery for beer and donuts
The 5K awards a gift certificate for a new pair of shoes to overall winners and prizes for each age group. Race shirts are unisex, run large, and participants may opt out; a limited number of shirts are available for purchase during bib pickup. Donuts are provided while supplies last. Packet pickup and registration take place at Excelsior Brewing Company.
Participants should note the course is an open road course with vehicles on the streets. The race route begins in front of Lakes Area Realty and finishes in front of Aloom Consignment. Dogs are not allowed on the course. A post-race celebration takes place at Excelsior Brewing Company. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
