AdventHealth Santa's Twilight 5K
The AdventHealth Santa's Twilight 5K takes place in Downtown Clermont, Florida. This evening event features a 3.1 mile (5K) route through the city streets. Participants have the choice between an in-person race or a virtual option.
The virtual event allows participants to complete the 5K distance from any preferred location, including roads, trails, or treadmills. For the virtual race, domestic shipping for materials is included in the registration fee, and results are submitted online once the distance is finished.
A costume contest is held as part of the event proceedings. Judging occurs prior to the race, and participants must wear their costumes for the duration of the run to remain eligible for prizes. Recognition is given in several categories:
- Fastest Santa
- Best Team or Group
- Crowd Favorite
- Most Electrifying
- Most Creative
Competitive awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as male and female masters. Age group awards are also provided in five-year increments for the top three finishers in each bracket.
