Lowcountry Trail Run (Johns Island County Park)
The Lowcountry Trail Run includes a half marathon, a 5K and a kids dash at Johns Island County Park, 2662 Mullet Hall Rd., Johns Island, SC 29455. The event takes place in October 2025 and the course runs on natural trails with fall foliage, moss-draped oaks and native wildlife along the route. The course surface varies from hard-packed trails with roots to grass and includes occasional areas of uneven terrain. Pets are not allowed on the course. Smoking, vaping and tobacco use are prohibited.

Registration fees listed are $55 for the half marathon, $38 for the 5K and $5 for the kids dash. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 1; on-site registration is not available. The kids dash is untimed, includes a finisher medal, and requires a parent or guardian to be present. Bibs are required for participants and lost bib penalties will be enforced. Two water stations are available on the course; participants are asked to bring a personal water bottle. Strollers are not recommended. Course maps and additional event details are provided by the organizer. Accessibility notes: the half marathon is run-only; the 5K is open to runners and walkers.
