Mullet Haul n' Hustle : Johns Island County Park
Mullet Haul n' Hustle is a trail running event scheduled for October 3, 2026 at Johns Island County Park. The event offers multiple distances and formats on natural, unimproved trails that include hard-packed sections, exposed roots, occasional uneven terrain and grassy stretches. The course is a loop and has water stations; strollers are not recommended and pets are not allowed on the course.
Distances and formats:
- Kids Dash, for young runners
- 5K, a short trail distance
- Half Marathon, a longer trail distance
- Marathon Relay, teams of four covering the marathon distance
Registration information notes that shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations received after September 18, 2026. Registration includes a shirt, a finisher medal and one adult beverage. Registration closes Wednesday, September 30. Participants ages 10 to 15 may register but must be accompanied by a registered adult chaperone. Race day packet pick-up is available on-site.
Accessible parking is available near the event site. The route to the restroom building and class site is on natural, unimproved surface. Accessible restrooms are located in the meadow near the event site and an accessible port-a-let is on the course. Organizers request participants bring their own water bottle to support a move toward cup-less events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
