Event Overview
The Love the Run You're With is a running event held in Fredericksburg, Virginia, to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend. Participant Information
The event is open to participants aged 18 and older. The course is not stroller-friendly, and dogs are not permitted on the race route. While there is no strict time limit, organizers aim for all participants to finish within 80 minutes of the start. Free parking is available at the Massad Family YMCA at 212 Butler Road, with additional overflow parking at Pratt Park.
Amenities and Awards
All finishers receive a custom race mug instead of a traditional medal. Participants who register by the specified deadline are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Post-race perks include sweet treats at the finish line and a complimentary coffee or hot chocolate for those who show their race bib.
Awards are presented to top finishers using an age-graded system, which adjusts finish times based on age and gender for fair comparison. Recognition is also given for the best Valentine's-themed outfits. Overall awards are provided for the top five male and female finishers combined, with additional awards for the top five finishers in various age groups ranging from 19 and under to 70 and older.
