Event Details
The Lostock 6 Road Race is one of the oldest road races in the United Kingdom. The course records are 29:04 for men, held by Harry Wakefield, and 33:17 for women, held by Sophie Wood of Sale Harriers.
A cash prize of £150 is offered for breaking the course record, for both male and female categories. This prize is sponsored by Thrive Sports Massage.
Practical Information
The event starts and finishes at Barnstormers on Lostock Lane in Bolton. Participants can collect their race numbers from the Lostock AC marquee on Lostock Lane before the start. The event is sponsored by Kohort Recruitment.
Entry is for runners aged 16 and above. Registration is online only, with no entries available on the day of the race. There are two ticket types: one for affiliated club runners and one for unaffiliated runners. Car parking is available courtesy of Scan.
