Loop the Lake
Loop the Lake is an annual club race in Lubbock that has been held since 1992. The event features two loop courses organized by the West Texas Running Club and takes place at Landwer House on Cesar E. Chavez Drive, just west of the university.
- 2 Mile Run/Walk (loop)
- 5 Mile Run (loop)
Entry fees are listed as $8 for club members and non‑member children age 7–12 for the 2 mile, and $20 for non‑members for both distances. Bib pickup is available on race day only. There is no race day registration. No refunds are offered and pets are not allowed. T-shirts are not provided as part of this race.
Age rules are specified: the 2 mile is open to participants age 7 and older, the 5 mile requires participants to be at least 13, and strollers are permitted only for participants age 18 and older and only on the 2 mile course.
