Dawn of Time Fun Run
The Dawn of Time Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, 18 July 2026 at the Lubbock Lake Landmark Interpretative Center. The course follows a caliche gravel trail that begins and ends at the Landmark’s Interpretive Center, winds through Yellow House Draw, and passes ongoing research excavation areas. The description of the route notes the gravel surface and the presence of visible research sites alongside the trail.

The event is presented as a Fun Run and is family friendly; participants may run, walk, or stroll at their own pace. Drinks and refreshments will be provided for all participants.
