Dawn of Time Fun Run
The Dawn of Time Fun Run takes place on Saturday 18 July 2026 at the Lubbock Lake Landmark Interpretive Center in Lubbock, Texas. The event is organized by Lubbock Lake Landmark and uses trails on the landmark property.

The course follows a caliche gravel trail that begins at the Interpretive Center, winds through Yellow House Draw, passes ongoing research excavation areas, and returns to the Interpretive Center. The route uses natural surface trail sections and passes areas of active study.
The event is described as a Fun Run and is family friendly. Participants may run, walk, or stroll at their own pace. Drinks and refreshments are provided for all participants. A free Dawn of Time Fun Run t shirt is available with registration.
