Lookout to Lookout to Lookout
Lookout to Lookout to Lookout is a roughly 10 mile out and back race in Black Mountain and Montreat, NC. The course begins and ends at Lookout Brewing Company and travels to the Lookout trailhead, combining road and greenway running with technical trail sections that include the Lookout Mountain climb and a trail loop.
The route mixes faster road sections and more technical trail terrain. Aid is available at the Lookout Trailhead and at approximately mile 3 and mile 8. The finish area will offer water, snacks, cold beer and a food truck.
Event logistics note a 4 hour cutoff for finishers. Packet pickup is handled at Lookout Brewing Company, 103 S Ridgeway Ave. Registration closes on February 18, 2027. There is no parking available at Lookout Brewing Company; free public parking lots are available in downtown Black Mountain within two to three blocks, and additional parking is available behind Black Mountain Primary School.
All participants receive a hoodie and a beer token for ages 21 and over. Special awards are planned for the top male and top female finishers. Entry fees are non transferable and non refundable after January 1, 2027; after that date refunds and transfers are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
