Black Mountain Turkey Trot 5k
The Black Mountain Turkey Trot 5k takes place on November 26, 2026 in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The event includes multiple options: a chip-timed 5k, an untimed 1-mile fun run called the Wishbone, and a Virtual 5k with no live participation. The start and finish are located at Town Square near 102 E State St, Black Mountain.
Race services and features include packet pickup available the day before at Pisgah Brewing Company and race day packet pickup at Mountain Running Company, a premium long-sleeve tech shirt while supplies last, a reclaimed wooden finisher medal for participants, and a custom race bib. The 5k course passes through downtown neighborhoods and a Lake Tomahawk loop with a water stop at the Tomahawk Park parking lot.
