Long Beach Pride Run 2026
The Shoreline Frontrunners of Long Beach host the 34th annual Pride Run. It is a fundraiser; net proceeds are donated to local charities. The listed beneficiaries for 2026 include The LGBTQ Center in Long Beach, The South Bay LGBTQ Center in Torrance, The Aids Food Store, The CARE program at St. Mary's, LA CADA, and Gay for Good.
The event takes place on the Long Beach beach path. The event address is 2000 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach.
Events include:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 10k Run
- 200ft Pride sKIDaddle – A short dash for kids before the main race. Kids receive a unique medal, and a bib coloring station with crayons is available.
The start and finish are at Ocean Blvd. and Junipero Ave. 10k runners use the beach running path for part of the course, while 5k runners go over Belmont pier towards Rosie’s dog beach and back. All participants must finish by 9:30 AM on race day because the Long Beach Pride Parade starts shortly after. The 10k event is for runners only to meet this cutoff.
The event offers chip timing via race bibs, a bag check service for registered runners, and an awards ceremony. There is no dedicated event parking; street parking is very limited. Organizers recommend arriving early to find parking further away or using public transportation, ride shares, bikes, or scooters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
