Long Beach Pride Run : May 17, 2026
The Long Beach Pride Run is an annual road and beach path event hosted by the Shoreline Frontrunners of Long Beach. The run takes place along the Long Beach beach path with the start and finish on Ocean Blvd between Cherry and Junipero Avenue. The event is the club’s major fundraiser and net proceeds are donated to local charities. 2026 beneficiaries include the CARE Project, The Center in Long Beach, The Aids Food Store, Gay For Good, The South Bay LGBTQ Center, and L.A. Cada.
Race services include official chip timing incorporated into the race bib and a full bag check available for registered participants, with check in and check out organized by bib number. The event schedule is coordinated so participants can attend the day of the Pride Parade.
Course details describe an out-and-back route on the beach path with 10k runners continuing around Alamitos marina and turning at the Jetty before returning. Both 5k and 10k routes use Bluff Place and 11th Place to approach Ocean Blvd for the final stretch.
Awards are presented for top finishers, including medals for top male, female, and non-binary finishers in each distance and age category placements. Event parking is limited and there is no event parking; bike valet is provided on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
