The 2026 beneficiaries include the CARE Project, The Center in Long Beach, The Aids Food Store, Gay For Good, The South Bay LGBTQ Center, and L.A. Cada.
Distances
- 200 ft dash for kids.
- 5k run/walk.
- 10k run.
The course starts and finishes on Ocean Boulevard between Cherry and Junipero Avenue. Runners descend to the Junipero parking lot and head toward Belmont Pier, return on the beach path past the Junipero lot to the Pride Lifeguard Tower. 10k runners continue around Alamitos marina to the Jetty and return to rejoin the 5k route. Both distances climb Bluff Place and 11th Place back to Ocean Boulevard for the final stretch.
Official chip timing is provided with the race bib and runners must cross the timing device at both the start and finish to record a time and be eligible for awards. Bib pickup is available before the run and the morning of the event at designated locations. A full bag check will be available for registered runners and must be cleared before the race closes. There is no event parking in the immediate area and a free bike valet will be available. Awards include medals for top finishers by gender and age categories.
