Long Beach City Manager's 10 Mile Race to Remember
The Long Beach City Manager's 10 Mile Race to Remember is an annual 10 mile road race held in Long Beach. The event is dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice and to the memory of the race founder. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event.
Race amenities include T-shirts while supplies last, a personalized bib for registrants who register at least three weeks in advance, and an award ceremony after the race. Bib and T-shirt pickup occurs on the day of the race at Laurelton and the Boardwalk at street level; registrants must know their bib number and a self lookup area is provided at pickup.
Awards are presented to top male and female overall finishers, top male and female active military or veteran finishers, top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 14 and under through 80 plus, and the top wheelchair finisher.
The course assembles at Laurelton Boulevard and the Boardwalk, with the start near Laurelton and Park. The route proceeds westbound on Laurelton and Park to Connecticut Avenue, south on Connecticut to Oceanview, east on Oceanview to NY, south on NY to the Boardwalk, east on the Boardwalk to Neptune, then north on Neptune to Shore Road, east on Shore Road to Pacific, north on Pacific to East Broadway, east on Broadway to Washington Boulevard and West Broadway, then returns to Neptune and follows the Boardwalk back to Laurelton for the finish.
