About the race
The NYC St. Patrick's 5K & 10K is a community run and walk held in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. The event includes a free kiddie fun run and a virtual participation option.
Distances:
- 5K: USATF certified course, one loop.
- 10K: two loops of the 5K course.
The course passes the Unisphere twice and runs around the Fountain of the Planets. Start and finish are located on the north side of the Queens Theater. Runners are asked to cross the finish line mats on each 10K loop for accurate split times and photos.
Amenities include an event T shirt, informal bag check in the staging area, hydration at the finish, and refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Portable toilets are positioned near the finish and an NYC Parks bathroom is available shortly after mile two. Bathrooms within a short walk are also noted.
Bib options include in-person pickup from event staff beginning one hour before the event and a mailed bib option for an additional fee if registered at least ten days in advance. The virtual option allows participants a week to log a time and submit up to five photos; mailed items for virtual entries begin shipping the Monday prior.
