Long Beach City Council Turkey Trot
A community road race held in Long Beach, New York on November 22, 2026. The event offers two distances and is organized around a measured course that runs on New York Avenue and the boardwalk.

- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, timed for children 14 and younger
The course is described as accurately measured and flat. Baby strollers are not allowed on the race course. Race materials and T-shirts are distributed in the Long Beach Catholic Regional School gymnasium at the event location, 735 West Broadway.
Awards are offered for both distances. The 1 Mile awards recognize the top 3 male and female finishers in the 10 and under and 11-14 age categories. The 10K awards include top overall male and female, top wheelchair participant, and top four male and female finishers within multiple age groups up to 80+.
Registration is available online. Base registration options listed include a 10K entry priced at $35.00 and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk entry priced at $20.00; processing fees apply. Registration fees are non-refundable and entries are subject to the event's terms and agreements.
