About the race
The Long Beach City Council Turkey Trot is an annual running event held in Long Beach, NY, with its 20th edition scheduled for November 23, 2025. The event features a 10K run and a 1-mile fun run/walk, the latter being timed and designed for children 14 and under. Both races start and finish on New York Avenue and the boardwalk, offering a flat, fast, and accurately measured course.
