Loftus Poultry Run

The Loftus Poultry Run is a popular multi-terrain running event held annually just before Christmas, boasting over 38 years of tradition. This approximately 7-mile race features a mix of country lanes, bridleways, footpaths, and muddy fields, with a challenging uphill start followed by an exhilarating downhill finish. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy trainers or trail shoes.

The event is known for its festive atmosphere, complete with costumes, a brass band, and camaraderie among runners. Finishers receive a T-shirt, and prizes include festive food items.
