Llangollen Trail 10K & Kids 1 Mile Race 2027
The event offers a main off-road 10 km race and a separate Kids 1 mile race run as four laps of a race track. The 10K route follows the Llangollen Canal and passes through fields, featuring undulating terrain and a steady circular climb. A feeding station is provided on the 10K course. The 10K is chip timed and the entry fee for adults is listed as £20. Runners in the 10K must be aged 15 or over. The entry package includes a Bespoke finisher medal.
Race day arrangements include registration, a briefing and warm up, the kids race, the 10K and a prize presentation. Parking is available at Tower Fields, Dinbren Road, Llangollen, Wrexham LL20 8EB. Directions note turning up Wharf Hill, left onto Dinbren Road past Ysgol Dinas Bran and Llangollen Leisure Centre for approximately a quarter mile, keeping left when the road forks and turning left into the Tower Sports Field. There is plenty of on-site parking; participants are asked not to park at Llangollen Leisure Centre or Llangollen Pavilion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
