Llama Experience Ultra

Llama Experience Ultra is a timed trail event held at Ellaberry Llama Farm on private grounds near Hendersonville, NC. The course runs through apple orchards and misty mountain trails marked with red ribbons and yellow arrows and uses a loop format.

12-hour race
6-hour race
3-hour race

The route passes through terrain the resident llamas call home, and the event includes on-course llamas. Aid stations provide a range of food items including pickles, cereal, fruit, candy, pretzels, bacon, and beverages such as Tailwind, water, and soda. First aid is onsite.

Event rules note that dogs and strollers are not permitted unless an exception is granted; trekking poles are allowed. Every runner who completes the event receives a medal.
