The Little Sisters of the Poor Nun Run 5K takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. This is the event's 20th annual edition.
Event Details
The event is an inclusive 5-kilometer walk or run. The race starts at 9:00 AM. It is designed to provide an opportunity for residents of the Jeanne Jugan Residence and their supporters to cross the finish line together.
The race is located at 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, Delaware, at the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence. Bib pickup and registration are available on the day of the event from 8:00 AM until 8:55 AM.
Runner Amenities
Participants receive a T-shirt. Snacks and adult beverages are provided for those aged 21 and over.
Awards
Awards are given for the Overall Male and Female finishers, Overall Male and Female Master finishers, and the top three finishers in each standard age group (13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+). There is also a first-place award for male and female walkers, as well as awards for the top individual and team fundraisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
