Little River Rush Half Marathon
The Little River Rush presents a point to point half marathon on back roads near Townsend and Maryville, Tennessee. The course begins at the Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and finishes at Heritage High School on E Lamar Alexander Parkway. The route features over 600 feet of total descent and more than 200 feet of net downhill and is USATF certified for age group and national records or for qualifying time standards.

Logistics and on-course services are provided for participants. All finishers receive a custom medal; registering by May 1 guarantees a medal and allows ordering a race shirt by the same deadline. Aid stations offering water and Gatorade are located at miles 4, 7, and 10. Portable restrooms are available at Heritage High School, at the start area, and at locations along the course.
Parking and transportation use Heritage High School as the parking and finish area; buses transport runners to the start, with the final shuttle departing before the race. Runners missing the last shuttle are responsible for their own transport. Vehicles may be used to drop off runners at the start but must yield to buses. After the race, exiting via Tuckaleechee Pike will not be permitted with race traffic; use the E Lamar Alexander Parkway entrance. Buses are reserved for runners and volunteers only. Spectators are responsible for their own transportation.
