Little River Rush Half Marathon - May 16, 2026
The event is a half marathon held in Maryville, TN with a point-to-point course that starts at the Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and finishes at Heritage High School. The course follows back roads through Townsend with mountain views. The route includes over 600 feet of total descent and more than 200 feet of net downhill. The 2026 race date is subject to change pending permit approval.
Race logistics and amenities
All participants must pick up their race bib during scheduled packet pickup times; no bibs will be available at the start line. All finishers receive a custom medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group: 1–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Shirt orders have a deadline of May 1.
Restrooms are available inside the Heritage Visitors Center, at three on-course locations, and at the finish at Heritage High School. Aid stations are located at miles 4, 7, and 10 and will offer water and Gatorade. Participants must park at Heritage High School; buses will transport runners to the start. No parking is available at the Heritage Center. Runners missing the final shuttle are responsible for their own transportation. Proceeds benefit the Heritage High School cross country and track and field programs. Live results and participant tracking will be available online during the event.
