Little Loggers Trail Fest
The Little Loggers Trail Fest is a PA Trail Dogs event in North Bend, PA, focused on introducing trail running to children ages 12 and under. The event is free for participants in this age group. Registration for 2026 is sold out. Registration for kids opened January 4 and the event has a hard cap of 300 children with no waitlist. All children must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.
The kids course is about 2.75 miles long and includes a few small hills. Depending on June rainfall, there may be one small stream crossing. The course is flagged and staffed by volunteers, with most volunteers within sight of one another. There is one aid station with EMS at the approximate halfway point. Organizers state that no participant will be alone on the course.
Parents and guardians may run alongside their child but should not register as an adult participant. If a parent cannot run and wants someone with their child, a pacer can be provided. Results are recorded only for the children.
After the race there will be a lunch for kids including items such as hot dogs, pizza, and drinks; participants may bring a dessert in a disposable serving dish. The event may use participant photos or video for promotional purposes; requests to avoid photography can be accommodated when possible.
This event is part of the Rocksylvania Kids Trail Series, a three-race series that requires preregistration and completion of all three races to earn a series prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
