Little Loggers Trail Fest - June 21, 2026
The Little Loggers Trail Fest is a PA Trail Dogs event in North Bend, PA aimed at getting children outdoors and introducing them to trail running. The event is for kids ages 12 and under and is offered free of charge. Participants who take part in the kids event also receive free entry into the Little Pine 5 Miler held in October.
The course will be about 2.75 miles long and includes a few small hills and possibly one small stream crossing depending on June rainfall. The route will be flagged and staffed by volunteers who are likely within sight of one another. There will be one aid station positioned at the halfway point with EMS present, and no child will be expected to be on the course alone.
Parents or guardians may run alongside their child but are asked not to register as adult competitors; a volunteer pacer can be provided if a parent cannot accompany a child. Results will be recorded only for the children.
A post-race lunch and other activities are planned for participants, with typical offerings such as hot dogs, pizza, and drinks. The event includes a photo and video release in its waiver, although organizers will try to accommodate requests to avoid photography.
