Little Loggers Trail Fest - North Bend, PA
Little Loggers Trail Fest is a children’s trail running event organized by PA Trail Dogs for kids ages 12 and under. The event is scheduled for June 27, 2027, at 161 Sportsmans Lane in North Bend, PA. Registration opens January 3, 2027; entry is free and limited to 300 children with no waitlist. All participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
The course is approximately 2.75 miles long and includes a few small hills. Depending on June rainfall, there may be one small stream crossing. The route will be flagged and staffed by volunteers so that no child is on the course alone. There will be one aid station at the halfway point with EMS present. Parents or guardians may run alongside their child but should not register as adult competitors; a pacer can be provided if needed.
Results will be recorded only for the child participants. After the run there will be a lunch for the children with food such as hot dogs and pizza; volunteers note that shared desserts should be brought in disposable serving dishes. The event waiver permits use of photos and video for promotional purposes; parents who do not want their child photographed should notify organizers.
