The View Trail Race
The View Trail Race is scheduled for November 7, 2026 in North Bend, PA and is organized by PA Trail Dogs. The event offers the following distances:

- 15K
The course is designed to let runners cover parts of the Hyner Challenge. The 25K is modified to bypass Johnson Run while still using main trails named The View, Post Draft, SOB, and Huff Run. The 15K follows the 25K route up to the View and then splits from that course at mile 5.5 to return via the Huff Run Trail.
The organizer describes this edition as slightly easier and a little shorter than the usual Hyner 25K. Participants should expect about 3000 feet of elevation gain over 15 miles. Organizers expect runners to finish within 6.5 hours and indicate the event is intended for serious runners and hikers rather than walkers.
Registration details state that entries open December 18 and are limited to the first 500 runners. Entry fees are shown in a range from 58.50 to 87.50 USD.
