Dark Sky 220 / Cherry Springs 110 / Wooly 50K
Warrior Trail Foundation organizes three trail running options in the Lock Haven, PA area during October 25 to 30, 2026. Routes use a local trail system with varied fall scenery and forested terrain. A GPX file for the course is hosted on Caltopo. Actual start and finish locations may change based on permitting.
Distances
- 220 miles with over 40,000 feet of elevation gain.
- 110 miles with nearly 20,000 feet of elevation gain.
- 50K shorter distance on the same trail network.
Runners may choose supported, self supported, or unsupported styles. Supported entries allow crew access at designated points. Self supported runners may cache supplies along the route. A team option is available using supported or self supported approaches. The course includes plentiful water sources.
A virtual option is available for all distances so participants can run a self created course and log miles while fundraising. Registration details list a flat fee of $22 per person for all distances and styles, plus a suggested fundraising commitment of $300 with a reduced suggestion of $100 for the 50K. All proceeds go to the Warrior Trail Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Registration is required and entrants must complete event questions and sign a waiver.
