Dark Sky 220, Cherry Springs 110 and Wooly 50K : Lock Haven, Pennsylvania
Organized by the Warrior Trail Foundation, this multi-day trail event takes place in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania from October 25 to 30, 2026. The event supports trail running programs and professional coaching scholarships for veteran athletes selected to the WTF Athlete Team. All proceeds go to the Warrior Trail Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Distances offered:
- Dark Sky 220, 220 miles, over 40,000 feet elevation gain
- Cherry Springs 110, 110 miles, nearly 20,000 feet elevation gain
- Wooly 50K, approximately 50 kilometers
Participants may choose from several support styles: Supported with crew access, Self-Supported with cached supplies, Unsupported carrying all gear, or a Team option. The course has plentiful water sources according to the organizer. A GPX file for the course is provided on Caltopo and additional course information is available from the organizer. Actual start and finish locations may change based on permit conditions.
Registration is listed at $22 per person for all distances and styles, with a suggested fundraising commitment of $300 and $100 suggested for the 50K. All participants must register, complete required questions, and sign a waiver. Volunteers and sponsors are welcomed; volunteer roles and sponsor contributions may include on-course support, shuttles, runner tracking, and product or service donations.
