Dark Sky 220 / Cherry Springs 110 / Wooly 50K - Lock Haven, PA
The Warrior Trail Foundation presents three trail event distances held in Pennsylvania, operating from an event base in Woolrich, PA that provides crew space and basic overnight options. The events are scheduled for October 25–30, 2026 in the Lock Haven area and offer on-course water sources.
Distances:
- 220 miles - over 40,000 feet elevation gain.
- 110 miles - nearly 20,000 feet elevation gain.
- 50K - Wooly 50K distance.
Participants may choose supported, self-supported, unsupported, or team formats. Supported entries allow crew access at designated points; self-supported runners may cache supplies; unsupported runners carry all supplies from the start. A GPX file for the course is available on Caltopo. Virtual options now exist for all distances and can be completed anytime by year end.
The AZ Campaign is a separate, limited virtual edition following a public-access route. This campaign requires prior multi-day experience, has a $1000 fundraising minimum, and is intended as an unsupported adventure without cutoffs, aid stations, course marking, or formal support.
Registration requires a $22 donation per person and completion of registration questions and a waiver. Suggested fundraising commitments apply: $300 standard, $100 for the 50K, and $1000 for the AZ Campaign. All registration donations support the Warrior Trail Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3).
