Race details
The event is a 5K out-and-back on paved roadway. The course uses an out-and-back route through Masterson Station Park. Chip timing and race management are provided by RaceRise. Participants may include runners, walkers, families, strollers, and dogs on a leash. The race offers commemorative T-shirts, overall and age-group awards, free race photos, music and food, and door prizes. Vision Teams are supported with team pricing and a prize for the largest Vision Team. Team pricing includes a $3.00 discount for every team member after the fourth registrant; when a team reaches five members the first four registrants receive a $3.00 refund.
Logistics and support
Early packet pickup is planned at Fleet Feet Lexington at The Summit at Fritz Farm. Race-morning packet pickup is available at Masterson Station Park. Race-day registration is available and paper registration forms will be provided if needed.
Beneficiaries
Proceeds support vision-related services in the bluegrass community, including Kentucky Lions Youth Camps, the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, eyeglasses for those in need, Central Kentucky Radio Eye, Leader Dogs, and other club service projects.
