Lions Run for Sight 5K
The 39th annual Lions Run for Sight takes place on April 4, 2026, at Masterson Station Park in Lexington, KY. The event is an out-and-back 5K held on paved roadway surfaces and is open to runners, walkers, families, strollers, and dogs on a leash.
The event uses chip timing and race management provided by RaceRise. Participants receive commemorative race T-shirts and may be eligible for overall and age group awards. The race includes Vision Teams with team pricing and a prize for the largest Vision Team, free race photos, live music, food, fellowship, and over 100 door prizes planned.
Proceeds support vision service programs in the bluegrass community, including Kentucky Lions Youth Camps, the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation, purchase of eyeglasses for those in need, Central Kentucky Radio Eye, Leader Dogs training, and other local club service projects.
Packet pickup is planned at Fleet Feet Lexington at The Summit at Fritz Farm (4084 Finn Way Suite 140, Lexington, KY 40517), with additional pickup available at Masterson Station Park on race morning. Team registration offers a group discount: once a team reaches five members, each additional member receives a $3.00 reduction and the first four members receive a $3.00 refund when the fifth member joins.
