Lincolnshire Rotary Red, White & Boom 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run and walk held at Spring Lake Park, 49 Oxford Drive, Lincolnshire, IL, as part of the community Red White & Boom July 4 celebration. It is presented as Lincolnshire’s 44th annual Rotary Fourth of July 5K and is described as family friendly, taking place along tree lined streets.
The course is described as flat and fast, sanctioned and certified by USATF, with every mile clearly marked. Walkers are welcome. Packet pickup is available the day before at North Park as a drive through and on the morning of the event at Spring Lake Park. Parking is not allowed on Lincolnshire Drive; additional parking is available north of Route 22 at the Lincolnshire Club on Elm Road.

Age divisions begin at 10 and under, continue 11 to 14, and then in five year increments through 70 and over. Performance short sleeved t shirts are provided to registrants while supplies last. Awards are given to the first three overall male and female finishers, to the top three in each age group, and to the first male and female Lincolnshire finishers.
