2026 Lincolnshire Rotary Red, White & Boom 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk held in Lincolnshire, Illinois on July 4, 2026, as part of the town's Red White & Boom July 4th celebration. It is the 44th annual Rotary 4th of July 5K and takes place at Spring Lake Park, 49 Oxford Drive.
The course runs through tree-lined streets of Lincolnshire. The route is described as flat and fast, with every mile clearly marked, and the course is sanctioned and certified by USATF. Walkers are welcome. The event includes a festive atmosphere with a DJ, pre-race stretching, and a performance short-sleeved t-shirt provided to registrants while supplies last.
Packet pickup is available July 3 at North Park through a drive-through session from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on July 4 at Spring Lake Park beginning at 6:30 AM. Parking guidance notes that participants should not park on Lincolnshire Drive; parking is available north of Route 22 at the Lincolnshire Club on Elm Road.
Age divisions begin at 10 and under, then 11-14, followed by five-year increments up to 70 and over. Awards include overall male and female top-three finishers, top three in each age group, and first-place male and female Lincolnshire finishers; no participant may receive more than one award.
