Stars & Stripes Half Marathon, 10K & 5K : Hoffman Estates, IL
The event takes place on June 27, 2026 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. It offers three race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is USATF certified (certificate 22018NM) and runs entirely on streets and paved paths. The event is chip timed and provides water at all stations, with sports drink at Half Marathon stations. All finishers receive a finisher medal; winner medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall.
The race includes several event features tied to the USA 250th anniversary, including a special edition anniversary shirt and a live national anthem performance by Jim Cornelison. Participants receive an American flag 0.1 miles before the finish line to cross while waving the flag. Event gear options include a cotton/poly t-shirt or a ladies fit tank top, with a color upgrade available for an additional fee.
Packet pickup can be mailed for a fee, picked up at a pre-event location on June 25 and 26, or collected at the event site. Parking options include limited on-site parking, off-site parking with a short walk, and off-site parking with shuttle service. Pacers will be available across a range of goal times.
