Event overview

Linacre Infini is a timed trail endurance event held on 31 October 2026. The event uses a lapped format with runners aiming to complete as many laps as possible within a six-hour period. Each lap is 4.6 km. The course is fully marked and marshalled and follows well-maintained trails and footpaths in a wooded valley at Linacre Reservoirs. The valley location means the route includes occasional climbs. A checkpoint at the start and finish of each lap provides food, both sweet and savoury. A bespoke Linacre Infini medal is awarded to every runner who completes at least one lap.

Entry, age and logistics

Entries open on Monday 22 December 2025 and close on Sunday 25 October 2026. The minimum age for entry is 18 or older. Entry fees are £30.00 for UKA members and £32.00 for non-members. The event is held under permit from the Association of Running Clubs. Car parking at Linacre Reservoirs is available for £3.50 (cash only). Participants may choose to purchase XCover to allow for a possible refund if they cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances. The organiser is First Light Adventure.
