Linacre Infini at Linacre Reservoirs
Linacre Infini is a timed trail endurance event held on 31 October 2026 at Linacre Reservoirs, Woodnook Lane, Chesterfield S42 7JN, on the eastern edge of the Peak District. The event follows a lapped format over six hours with runners aiming to complete as many laps as possible.
Each lap measures 4.6 km and follows fully marked, well maintained trails and footpaths set in a wooded valley around three reservoirs. The course is largely on paths but, being in a valley, contains occasional climbs. Runners pass a checkpoint at the end and start of each lap.
Entry details include an age minimum of 18 and entry fees of UKA member £30.00 and non member £32.00. Entries open 22 December 2025 and close 25 October 2026. Car parking at the site is charged at £3.50. The event organiser is First Light Adventure. An optional XCover purchase is available to provide potential refunds for unforeseen circumstances.
On course support includes a checkpoint offering both sweet and savoury food and drinks such as water, squash and coke. Medic cover is provided on the course and at race headquarters. Every finisher receives a medal and prizes are awarded to the male and female competitors who complete the most laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
