Linacre Infini - 6hr lapped trail race

Linacre Infini is a timed trail endurance event at Linacre Reservoirs, set in a wooded valley with three reservoirs. The race uses a lapped format in which participants aim to complete as many laps as possible within a six hour time limit. Each lap is 5 km and runners pass the checkpoint at the end and start of every lap.

The route is fully marked and follows well maintained trails and footpaths, with occasional climbs due to the valley terrain. Registration takes place at Linacre Reservoirs, Woodnook Lane, Chesterfield S42 7JW. Car parking costs £3.50. Checkpoint provisions include food, both sweet and savoury, and drinks such as water, squash and coke. Every finisher receives a medal and prizes are awarded for the most laps completed for male and female categories. Medic cover is provided on the course and at race headquarters.
