Linacre Infini
Linacre Infini is a six hour lapped trail endurance event held on 6 November 2027 at Linacre Reservoirs in north east Derbyshire, next to the eastern edge of the Peak District. Runners aim to complete as many laps as possible within a six hour time limit.
The route is fully marked and follows well maintained trails and footpaths around three reservoirs set in a wooded valley. Each lap is 4.6 km and includes occasional climbs. Runners pass the checkpoint at the end and start of each lap.
Practical details supplied for the event include registration at Linacre Reservoirs, Woodnook Lane, Chesterfield S42 7JN, and a car parking charge of £3.50. The checkpoint offers food both sweet and savoury and drinks including water, squash and coke. There is medic cover on the course and at the race headquarters. Every finisher receives a medal and prizes are awarded for the greatest number of laps completed for male and female categories.
The event is organised by First Light Adventure. Minimum age to enter is 18. Entry fees listed are UKA members £32.00 and non members £34.00. Entries open 15 October 2026 and close 31 October 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
