Lighthouse 5k Series : May 20, 2026

The Lighthouse 5k Series takes place on May 20, 2026, at The Whalehead Club in Corolla, NC (1100 Club Road, Corolla, NC 27927). The event marks the 16th annual running of the Lighthouse 5k / 1 Mile Race Series and is sponsored by Brindley Beach Vacations. The course runs through the Historic Village of Corolla Light and passes landmarks such as the Whalehead Club, Corolla Light, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

Race format, entry and amenities

Adult registration is listed at $45; youth 17 and under is listed at $40. Walk-up registration and pre-registered packet pickup/check-in are available on race morning at the race start line. All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion and chip timing. The venue provides parking and onsite restrooms. The event is walker- and stroller-friendly; service dogs are allowed and other pets are not permitted. Awards are planned for the top three male and female overall finishers, first-place Masters male/female (over 40), and first-place Youth male/female (14 and under).
