Event Overview
The 14th Annual Life's Good in LG 5k Race and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event is based at the Leonard's Grant Gazebo in Leonardtown, Maryland.
Distances and Course
The event features two race formats.
- A certified and chip-timed 5K course that loops through the Leonard's Grant neighborhood.
- A Kids' Fun Run with distances of 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile, which typically draws about 80 participants. All 5K registrants receive one free Fun Run registration.
Event Details
The Fun Run starts first at 8:00 AM. In the 5K, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in several age categories, including Overall, 13 & Under, 14-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61+. The event supports the local volunteer fire department, having donated over $41,000 in its history.
Registration Information
Online registration for the 5K costs $40. Registrants must sign up by May 13, 2026, to guarantee their shirt size, with no shirt exchanges available. There is no registration available on race day. Participants can pick up their race packet on race day if they have registered online. Walk-in registration is available the day before the race at the LG Clubhouse, but shirt size is not guaranteed at that time.
