LifeAct's Move for Mental Health 5K Run
LifeAct presents a community 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on October 11, 2026. The event supports LifeAct’s mission to prevent teen suicide by educating young people to recognize warning signs and seek professional help.
The event offers:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5K is chip timed; the 1 Mile is untimed. Registration pricing follows tiered rates: pre-registration at $30 until August 5, $35 from August 6 through October 10, and $40 on race day; mailed entries must be received by October 7, 2026.
Registration includes a commemorative event T-shirt, informational booths by local health and wellness organizations, snacks and giveaways, a wellness and health fair, family activities, and awards for top runners and fundraising teams. Top three overall male and female finishers and top three fundraising teams will be recognized. Strollers are permitted on the course; dogs are not allowed inside the zoo.
