3rd Annual Cleveland, OH Ostomy 5K
The 3rd Annual Cleveland, OH Ostomy 5K is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Acacia Reservation in Cleveland Metroparks. The event is presented as the Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K and includes two 5K categories listed as Open and Ostomate, plus a volunteer role.
Race registration opens March 23, 2026, and the participant registration window for the 5K events closes July 31, 2026. The registration fee for 5K participants is $30 and the volunteer role has no registration fee. The participant fee includes a unisex adult or youth T-shirt, a bib with a timing chip, and a runner swag bag; shirt sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 1, 2026. Packet pickup, race day schedule, and prizes are to be announced.
Fundraising is integrated into the event. Individual fundraising of $150 or more will result in a refund of the registration fee. Two fundraising levels are described: Empower at $250 or more and Champion at $450 or more; awards for these levels are to be determined, and Champion level fundraisers will also receive the Empower level award. A referral program offers a $20 refund when five other people register through a participant’s referral link; this applies to both in-person and virtual participants.
