3rd Annual Cleveland, OH Ostomy 5k
The Cleveland, OH Ostomy 5k returns for its third year on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This edition of the event takes place at a new location within the Cleveland Metroparks at the Acacia Reservation. The event is held in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day and serves as a fundraiser for the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a nonprofit organization supporting individuals living with an ostomy or continent diversion.
Participants can choose from the following event categories:
- Ostomy 5k Fun Run & Walk (Open)
- Ostomy 5k Fun Run & Walk (OSTOMATE)
Registration fees for these events include a unisex adult or youth t-shirt, a race bib with a timing chip, and a runner "swag" bag. T-shirt size availability is only guaranteed for those who register by September 1st. The event encourages community involvement through the creation of race groups or teams, allowing friends and family to participate together.
The program also features a fundraising component with various incentive levels. Individuals who reach specific fundraising goals may be eligible for registration fee refunds or additional awards.
