Liberty Bell 5k Fun Run
The Liberty High School Band hosts a community running event to benefit its marching band, jazz band, concert programs, winter percussion, and winter guard programs. The event is centered at Veterans Park in Brentwood and uses the Marsh Creek Trail through Creekside Park for an out-and-back course.
Distances offered include:
- 5k
- Kids One Mile
Medals are handed out at the finish line. All participants receive a 2027 t-shirt and a medal. A Charity 5k entry includes a $55 donation to the Liberty High School Band and a special long sleeve tech t-shirt. A family four-pack option is available for a set fee. Children ages 3 and under may participate without registration.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, July 2 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet, 6061 Lone Tree Way, Brentwood. If registration occurs on or after June 1, participants are not asked for a t-shirt size and may select a shirt at packet pick-up or on race day.
Strollers are allowed when pushed by an adult and participants with strollers must enter the start area at the back. For safety, dogs and other animals are not allowed on the course. The event takes place rain or shine and there are no refunds after registration for weather or personal reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
