Event Overview
The Lexington Rescue Run is a fundraising event in Lexington, South Carolina. Net proceeds from the event benefit Operation Underground Railroad, a non-profit organization focused on eradicating child sex trafficking.

The event is described as family-oriented. The Kids Fun Run is free to enter and includes treats for finishers. Strollers are permitted on the course, though there are some dirt portions.
Course Details
The 5K course is described as a new route that stays inside Red Bank Arena and consists of a double loop. A course map is available online and at packet pickup. There is one water stop approximately at the halfway point.
Logistics
Packet pickup is held at Red Bank Arena (1159 Nazareth Road, Lexington, SC) on the Friday before the race and on race morning. A t-shirt is included with 5K registration for participants who register by a specific mid-February deadline. After that date, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Post-Race
Post-race food and water are provided. An awards ceremony for age group winners follows the events. Door prizes, drawn randomly from bib numbers, are awarded before the age group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
