Event
The Lexington Rescue Run has been postponed and is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in Lexington, South Carolina. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a half mile Kids Fun Run. Net proceeds benefit Operation Underground Railroad, a nonprofit focused on eradicating child sex trafficking. The Kids Fun Run is free and includes finisher treats. Door prizes will be randomly drawn from bib numbers before age-group awards.
Course and logistics
The course is a double loop located inside Red Bank Arena at 1159 Nazareth Road, Lexington, SC. There is one water stop around the halfway point and post-race food and water will be available. Strollers are welcome, but parts of the course include dirt surfaces. Packet pickup will take place at Red Bank Arena. All 5K registrations include a t-shirt for those who register by February 17; shirts after that date are first come, first served. There are no t-shirts for the Fun Run. Registrants affected by the postponement may transfer to the new date, allow the organizer to retain the fee, or request a refund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
